Muslims For Bush deeply believes that the right decisions were made over Iraq and Afghanistan. We applaud the fact that President Bush not only removed the cancerous cells of the Muslim World, but more importantly, has put a vision in place that will guarantee the empowerment, liberation, and eventual democracy of the entire Muslim World.
The Muslim World should have never gotten to where it currently is. It was the incompetence of the Bush Senior and Clinton Administrations that allowed a Taliban to take over Afghanistan, stood pat as fundamentalists gained power in Iran, refused to recognize the lack of democracy in Egypt, and lazily tried to engage a peaceful accord between Palestine and Israel.
Worst of all, both of those administrations stood complacent with continually bombing Iraq and Afghanistan, without even removing the spreading cancers of Saddam Hussein and the Taliban. For how long were we, as Americans, going to allow these dictators to continually rape the destinies of the entire Muslim World?
Considering the amount of sanctions that these administrations passed against Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Egypt, Libya, and India, we quickly set ourselves up on a path of collision against the Muslim World, when we should have given interfacing and diplomacy a chance.

We applaud President George W Bush for lifting the Clinton sanctions against Pakistan and India, in addition to sending aid to both countries, for the purposes of gaining their armies and intelligence in the fight against Al-Qaeda. We applaud our President for setting a goal to remove both Saddam Hussein and the Taliban, in addition to placing pressure on all other Muslim leaders to conduct democratic elections, or face removal.
This decade marks the first time that we have seen democratic elections in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Palestine. We applaud our President for believing in the diplomatic approach, which has allowed for a peaceful dialogue to open between Israel and Palestine, as well as India and Pakistan. The Muslim World is on a pathway towards trusting us, as Americans, once again, due to the billions in aid that has been given to Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Egypt, and India; and more importantly, we celebrate the fact that President W Bush has lifted sanctions that were previously placed upon the Muslim World, and tempered those against others, because sanctions have done nothing but empower monstrous dictators.
We are confident that Afghanistan and Iraq will be free countries, with great economies, and fervent liberty. Our economic development has helped Afghanistan’s GDP grow over 28% from 2002 to 2003. Iraq’s economy has grown over 50% since Hussein’s overthrow, in addition to the opening of the Iraqi Stock Exchange (ISX) which currently boasts over 100 companies listed and is quickly growing. Other great examples would include the economic growth of Pakistan and Palestine.
President W Bush has directly cited the Marshall Plan as his inspiration – a vision that allowed for Germany and Japan to not only become free countries, but eventually, the strongest allies towards freedom and liberty. The growth in Iraq and Afghanistan is already surpassing the trends that were seen in early Germany and Japan.
Yet most importantly, it is President Bush’s vision of realizing that terrorism cannot end, until liberty and the pursuit of happiness is delivered to every individual of the world. The real solution to ending terrorism is embracing those countries that produce terrorists, by giving them education and democracy, not sanctions, in allowing them to create prosperity and peace for themselves, thus forever ending terrorism and forever harboring peace. We are disappointed that Democrats, like Senator Kerry, have not practiced good intelligence over these issues. We agree with Senator Kerry’s votes on going to war against the Taliban and Saddam Hussein, but we do not celebrate his decisions to vote against aid for Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, in addition to writing sanctions against other countries of the Muslim World. Such actions will only continue to accelerate negative relations with the Muslim World. And very disappointingly, we disapprove of Senator Clinton and Kerry’s decision to support Israel’s security wall, in addition to further trivializing the peaceful talks taking place between Israel and Palestine.
President W Bush has recognized Palestine, given aid to many in the Muslim World, empowered the economies of Iraq and Afghanistan, and delivered free elections to the Muslim World. We can go with the Democrats and continue our sanction and bomb policies of the Bush Senior and Clinton administrations, or we can continue with President W Bush and have faith in the Marshall Plan legacy of taking our worst enemies, and turning them into our best friends.
We, as Muslims and Americans, are blessed to have President W Bush as our President and as this Earth’s leader. And soon, the world will realize his good decisions.
